Summer holidays! That means:
Swimming at a friend’s home
Playing with the neighbor boys
Eating ice-cream and playing with my grandparents
Stomping in puddles when it rains,
Vacation Bible School at the American school
Petting (and eating) sheep in rural areas
Sending mail to family
And endlessly playing school…
Back to School! That means:
For Maria to see her friends again
At the ‘grande section’ (which is for big kids!)
a French and an English teacher
in blue and white uniform every day
Getting up early (just like during the holidays ;-( )
For Simon thankfully the same teacher
Teaching your parents French songs again
All most another holiday (because it is the French system!)
And during the weekends… playing school!!
I love that they play school!
